Government and Municipal Print and Mail Services
Government agencies and municipalities send documents that residents, taxpayers, property owners, voters, and jurors depend on. These mailings often follow defined formats, approval steps, production dates, and postal requirements.
DMP BPO provides document composition, printing, inserting, mailing, tracking, and archival services that can be configured around the needs of a specific agency or communication program.
Use the Files Your Current System Already Produces
DMP BPO can receive a flat data file and manage the template library, or accept a fully composed, print-ready file. Document composition can apply variable policyholder data and data-driven messages while keeping the approved layout consistent.
Before production, users can view individual PDFs and review or approve PDFs on a file basis through the Customer Information System. DMP BPO then prints and mails the documents and reports production status as each document is produced.

Support for Government Document Production
The services used for a program depend on the file format, document type, volume, schedule, mailing requirements, and reporting needs.
Prepare Documents From Agency Data
DMP BPO can receive structured data and apply it to approved document templates. Agencies that already generate their own documents can provide fully composed print-ready files.
Composition rules can control variable recipient information, approved messaging, and the placement of information within each document. File-level proofs can then be reviewed before production.
Printing, Mailing, and Address Processing
DMP offers black-and-white, highlight-color, and full-color printing. Production jobs use automated and manual print verification. Mail services can include presort, CASS and NCOA address processing, householding, and Intelligent Mail barcode tracking.
CASS and NCOA can identify and correct addresses that would otherwise be returned or rerouted. Householding can combine eligible documents for one customer into a single envelope.
Monitor Production and Retrieve Documents
The Client Information System allows authorized users to review file-level proofs and monitor production information. Piece-level information provides an additional record when staff need to research whether an individual communication was processed. Produced documents can also be indexed and archived for online retrieval and offsite backup.
Maintain Defined Approval and Mailing Processes
Public-sector mailings may involve multiple departments, fixed production dates, approved forms, and specific reporting requirements. The DMP BPO workflow can be organized around those established requirements rather than requiring the agency to adopt a fixed service package.
